Importance of Exercise

Today, people world-wide are becoming less physically active. As technology becomes more commonplace and mechanized modes of transportation more popular, physical exercise rates continue to drop. Combat these statistics by adding exercise to your daily routine.

As the number of sedentary people increases, so do obesity rates. Indeed, a sedentary lifestyle is associated with greater chances of obesity and excessive weight. Exercising for 30 minutes a day four days a week has been shown to significantly reduce one’s risk of cardiovascular problems.1 Furthermore, exercise has been shown to be a potent antidepressant2 as well as a boost to neurological functions.

If weight is an issue for you, consider adopting a more active lifestyle before following the latest “fad” diet.
