Notice RegardingCovid-19

Summer 2021:  Since the start of the Pandemic,  Texas has had approximately 2.5 Million confirmed cases of COVID-19. Sadly, these have resulted in approximately 51,000 fatalities. Coronavirus Update: Maps And Charts For U.S. Cases And  Deaths : Shots – Health News : NPR

 

On the vaccine front,  In Texas, approximately 50% of the  population have had at least 1 dose ( for all vaccines ) and about 40% are fully vaccinated.  For Texas vaccine updates:  COVID-19 Vaccine Information (texas.gov)  And for US vaccine tracking information:  https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2021/01/28/960901166/how-is-the-covid-19-vaccination-campaign-going-in-your-state .  We  continue to advise everyone to consider taking the vaccine,  unless you have already had COVID-19, in which case you are probably immune.  The Mayo Clinic also has useful data on the current pandemic.  https://www.mayoclinic.org/coronavirus-covid-19/map

Our clinic continues to follow guidelines to minimize infections.  You are no longer required to wear a mask.   If you would like us to wear a mask we are more than happy to do so during your visit.   The best scenario is that patients come to the clinic solo.  This will help decrease the risk of transmission.  If you have questions, please speak to our staff prior to arrival.  They will help make your experience here a positive one.  Please note that when you arrive at our clnlc we still check temperatures.  And hand sanitizer is available throughout.
